Super food for Kids By Fitness Expert and nutritionist Neeraj Mehta

1. Broccoli- Broccoli is a rich source of iron, calcium, Beta-carotene, vitamin C and fat soluble vitamins like Vitamin K. Adding just one vegetable type in your kid's  diet can give them a lot of benefits. It is proven to help in fighting cancer and tumors. It is also named as Bone Builder. Broccoli boosts heart health with numerous nutritional benefits.
2. Oats- Oats are high fiber, high protein and low calorie whole grain. Oats are also a good source of complex carbs, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper and Vitamin E. Oats should be an essential part of your kid's diet. Oats are beneficial in lowering the risk of heart diseases.
3. Curd- Curd / Yogurt is an extraordinary super-food due to its prebiotics and probiotics benefits. It is a good source of complete Protein. Yogurt is also rich in Calcium, Vitamin B12, and Potassium. Its benefits include adding healthy bacteria to our digestive system which improves our gut. It also strengthens our immunity system. A study in Japan has shown that if you eat curd on a regular basis it also improves your Oral health. It helps you fight with Plaque, gingivitis and bad breath as well.
4. Lean Meat-  If your child like eating non veg, include Lean meat in his/her diet. Lean meat is the skinless meat which is very low in calories but a rich source of Protein. It also improves the health of your skin and hair. You can add red meat, skinless chicken or even Turkey. 
5. Water- It may surprise you to see WATER in the list of super-foods. But drinking plenty of water is a very healthy habit, which will benefit your kid for lifetime. Eating healthy is certainly a matter of concern, But water is a must have in your diet.  Drinking a glass of water with empty stomach every morning is said to increase your metabolism rate by 30%.
